Future Hinckley Alumni Scholarship
The Future Hinckley Alumni Scholarship provides scholarship funding to outstanding students who are interested in public service and community engagement. Students selected for the scholarship will be paired with a Hinckley Alumni mentor who can provide educational and professional guidance. The funding for this scholarship is generously provided by the University of Utah Alumni Association with the intent to develop long-lasting relationships between the Hinckley Institute and the University and future Alumni.
QUALIFICATIONS
Selected students will be awarded scholarships up to $5,000 (divided equally between fall and spring semesters). Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Have completed at least one Hinckley Institute internship.

Strong academic standing in any academic major at the University of Utah.

Degree-seeking student at the University of Utah.

Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to active citizenship and public service.

Express a willingness to remain an engaged alumnus and mentor future students.

Students with at least 60 credit hours will be prioritized.

Scholarship decisions will be made before the end of spring semester. Funding will be released through the University of Utah Financial Aid & Scholarship Office and will be credited to outstanding tuition balances; excess funds will be refunded to the student.
